I’m on the road again to the Great White North where it’s really white but not as cold as my last trip. I’ve met a lot of great people this trip and especially some young financially motivated adults. It’s been refreshing talking to some 18 to 25 year olds who are keenly interested in developing good financial habits.
Being born and raised in Edmonton, I’ve seen a few Northern lights here and there but those really picturesque versions are supposed to be up north. I’ve been coming up to the Yukon and Northwest Territories quite a bit and keep looking for the beautiful Northern lights everyone talks about but they continue to hide while I am here.

Thanks for the mention Jim. The Northern Lights are beautiful, but it’s rare to see them vibrantly in Ottawa.
Have a great weekend,
Mark
I’ve seen northern lights twice in my life. They are truly a spectacle Canadians are fortunate to have and for those that haven’t seen them before, worth making an effort to see them.
I wish I was going north with you Jim
. I have a dream of going to the territories for a week of fishing and hope to get there someday.
Thanx for the mention Jim.
Really sounds like a great trip you are doing, and providing a lot of helpful information for people! I spent a couple of months up in Yukon and Alaska when I was 15 – it was amazing.
Forget NWT, its way toooo cold for me. I’d like to hit Phoenix or Tuscon right now.
Cheers
