Happy Post Valentines Day! My kids are now at the age where it’s fun to plan a valentines surprise for mom together. Robbie says let’s get mom flowers. Connor wants to get mom her favourite Cinnamon Buns, Jason wants to wake up early and bring mom breakfast in bed. Little Brandon wants to buy lots of Candy. In the end, mom got all four surprises except for breakfast in bed. The five of us slept in so mom made us heart shaped waffles!

Good to hear your kids are now old enough to make Valentine’s day a chance to have some fun together.
We started doing family fondue’s when the kids where young – and it’s a tradition that lasts even now when they’re old enough to be in university.
Hi Jim,
I thought about what could happen if I wrote that post. It would be hard for the Globe and Mail to ignore me more than they already are, so I’m not sure what problems I could have. Someone from the Globe sent me a note thanking me for pointing out the problem and that they were investigating. What did you have in mind when you said that I might get in a bit of trouble?
Cheers,
Michael
That is a very good blog that is cool
